Emmerdale star Jeff Hordley has hinted at a showdown between his character Cain Dingle and Caleb Miligan in the upcoming limo crash episodes.

The brothers have been united in recent months, but tonight’s episode of the soap will see Caleb discover that evil Anthony Fox was telling the truth about his wife Ruby sleeping with Cain late last year.

In the upcoming Valentine’s Day episode, Caleb and Cain are among the 17 villagers who travel in two limos for a night out, which both end up crashing during the journey.

Speaking about the upcoming episode, Hordley said that Cain can sense something is not quite right with Caleb when they get into the limos, but ultimately brushes it off.

“He was worried about Caleb before but by this point I think Cain thinks they have worked things out and maybe things are okay,” he explained.

“So he’s slightly cautious but not aware that Caleb is such a pressure cooker waiting to explode.

“Once they get in the car he kind of senses there might be something and that his guard is up, but he generally thinks that he’s got everything under control and everything’s covered.”

However, as both viewers and Caleb know, everything isn’t under control. Will Caleb finally confront Cain over his night of passion with Ruby as part of the doomed limo journey?

After all, Caleb actor Will Ash recently teased Caleb “brings quite a lot of baggage with him on the night out”.

“He is simmering as you’re with him, but you don’t know if he is going to lay all his cards on the table about what he knows,” he added.
