EastEnders star’s son, 1, rushed to hospital after trampoline accident
EastEnders actor James Bye’s one-year-old son, Rufus, was rushed to the hospital after a trampoline accident during the family’s half-term break. Initially, concerns centered around a possible concussion due to Rufus landing on his head. However, doctors diagnosed him with gastroenteritis, a conclusion that surprised his mother, Victoria. Her skepticism was short-lived, as the entire family soon experienced widespread illness, leading her to describe the situation as a “vom-fest.”
Despite the ordeal, the family has since recovered. James Bye, known for his role as Martin Fowler in EastEnders, is now preparing for a new stage role as Mr. Darcy in the adaptation of “Death Comes To Pemberley,” a continuation of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice.” This marks a significant transition from his previous soap opera character to a romantic literary figure.
Earlier this year, James’s character Martin met a heroic end in EastEnders, dying after saving his ex-wife Stacey Slater during an explosion at the Queen Vic pub. (The Sun)
