Linda Henry, renowned for her portrayal of Shirley Carter in EastEnders, is set to reunite with her on-screen son Danny Dyer in the upcoming second season of the Sky comedy series Mr Bigstuff. Henry will take on the role of Pam, described as a “no-nonsense, hands-on mechanic at the family haulage firm”
Mr Bigstuff follows the story of estranged brothers Lee (played by Dyer) and Glen (Ryan Sampson) as they navigate complex family dynamics. The new season picks up two weeks after the revelation that their father is not actually dead, prompting the brothers to embark on a mission to track him down. The series promises a blend of comedy and drama, with secrets unraveling and tensions escalating .
Henry’s return to television comes after her character Shirley Carter’s departure from EastEnders in December 2022. At that time, Shirley left Walford following the presumed death of her son Mick Carter, portrayed by Dyer. While there is no confirmed date for Shirley’s return to the soap, the BBC has indicated that the character has not left for good and is expected to return in the future .
