Eric, already brooding and emotionally raw, greets her not with warmth—but with steel in his eyes. “You shouldn’t be here, Taylor,” he says coldly. Taylor pleads gently. “Eric, I just want to talk. You have to understand—” But before she can finish, Eric slams his hand on the grand piano, his voice thunderous: “No! You don’t get to walk in here and ‘explain’ away everything you’ve done!”
The room goes silent. Ridge, Steffy, Thomas, even Donna—who’s standing nearby—freeze. No one has ever seen Eric like this.
He takes a step closer to Taylor, voice cracking with emotion. “You lied to all of us. You disappeared. You made me an accomplice to that lie. I protected you, Taylor. I opened this house to you when no one else would. And what did you do? You put this entire family in the middle of your deception!”
Taylor, tears filling her eyes, tries to interrupt. “I was hurting, Eric. I was broken and ashamed. I didn’t know how to ask for help—”
But Eric cuts her off with one line that changes everything:
“You didn’t just lie to protect yourself, you lied to protect your ego.”
The words hit like a slap. “You say you love this family, but you used it. You used me. And I’m done watching you manipulate everyone with those crocodile tears.”
Taylor gasps, visibly shaken. Steffy tries to step in. “Granddad, please—this is going too far.” But Eric doesn’t budge. He points toward the door, voice firm and final:
“I want you out of this house. Out of my sight. Now.”
It’s not a request. It’s a command.
Taylor looks around the room, hoping someone will defend her. Ridge looks down. Thomas won’t meet her gaze. And Steffy, though visibly torn, says nothing. In that moment, Taylor realizes the weight of her choices — and how alone she’s become.
Without another word, she gathers her things, trembling. As she walks to the door, she turns back one last time, eyes locking with Eric’s. “I’m sorry,” she whispers. “For all of it.”
Eric’s silence says more than words ever could.
As the door closes behind her, the house remains still. The Forrester family may be used to drama—but nothing like this. Donna gently touches Eric’s arm. “You did what you had to do,” she says softly. But Eric doesn’t answer. He simply stares out the window, the fire of betrayal still burning behind his eyes.
Because in this family, forgiveness is rare—and sometimes, even love has limits.
