The Young and the Restless star Melody Thomas Scott recently shared a heartfelt tribute to her first on-screen husband, Wings Hauser, following the news of his passing. Hauser portrayed Greg Foster, the lawyer who married Nikki Newman in 1977, making him her first husband on the show. Their relationship was filled with drama, as Nikki, still haunted by the trauma of killing her father, hoped to find stability with Greg. However, their marriage fell apart when Nikki became entangled in a dangerous world of prostitution and murder, leading to their split in 1981.
Scott took to Instagram to express her sadness over Hauser’s passing, sharing a nostalgic photo of their on-screen wedding. In her emotional post, she recalled their time together on set, describing how much she enjoyed working with him. She fondly remembered their daily breakfast runs to Du-par’s at the farmers market, where Hauser always carried a rolled-up script in his back pocket. Teasing him about his belief that he could absorb lines through osmosis, Scott admired his talent and dedication.

She recalled how Hauser would bring his children, including Yellowstone star Cole Hauser, to her house on weekends, making their bond even more special.
