This article contains spoilers for Emmerdale on Friday April 11, now available to view on ITVX.
Emmerdale has teased that a supposedly dead – and very evil – character may actually be alive after all.
The last few months have been very fatal in the village. Not only were a wave of locals killed off in a limo crash, the body of Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is lurking at the bottom of a lake thanks to John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth).
Amid all of this, vile abuser Anthony Fox’s true nature was revealed as it was discovered by viewers that he sexually abused daughter Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) as a child.
With this sick behaviour exposed, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), himself a victim of his father’s abuse, laid into Anthony in a violent attack.

Believing that Aaron had killed him, his then boyfriend and now fiancé John sprang into action and took it upon himself to dispose of the body.It then transpired that Ruby had finished off her dad and a group of villagers – including Caleb (William Ash) and now Steph (Georgia Jay) – know what happened.
And the likes of Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) are digging away, trying to find out.
In an emotionally packed episode of the soap, we see Steph continuing to fall apart, feeling that she looks like Anthony, and contemplating surgery to try and change this.

Aaron is on hand to try and comfort her, opening up about his own self-harm and drawing comparisons, but ultimately she pushes back and suffers a breakdown.
But this doesn’t become the only problem for the murder crew when a bunch of flowers arrives at the house.
Containing a threatening message, they claim to be from Anthony and now Ruby is terrified that he might not be so dead after all.
Ultimately, this leads to thoughts of what John must be hiding and, next week, during a visit to where he is supposedly buried, it seems the ground is untouched.
How will John explain this? Is Anthony still out there and plotting his return?
And, if not, where have these flowers come from?
